This is not a large place or large parking lot, but it is a nice stop if in the area.The Visitor Services Center offers tours of the Utah State Capitol in three different formats: docent-led, self-guided, and virtual. You can walk the grounds for no charge, but to tour inside, you need to pay. The cost was about $8 each, less for seniors or kids. We were traveling nearby and made the stop. The grounds include the house, the annex to the house, the ice house, the building with the kitchen and the cook's quarters, a few small gardens, a Lions Club display about her with a video, and the statue of Annie Sullivan with Helen Keller at the water pump. She has quite a story and accomplished great things. We probably spent about 45 minutes there. The home is small, masks are required inside, and you are given a brochure to read on your self-guided tour. If you do not know much about her, read before you go so you can appreciate this more. We were given a brief story about Helen Keller and then left to tour on our own. The birthplace home was a nice stop to tour. Helen Keller's name is all around this town.library, hospital, etc.
